MEET ETHAN VINCIL
Ethan is an outlaw country, southern Rock singer, and songwriter. He was born in the small town of Lenoir City, right outside of Knoxville Tennessee. Surrounded by a musical family, it was natural for Ethan to show interest in instruments and melodies. At the age of 12 years old, Ethan realized his passion was different than most of his peers. He had a passion for music, a love that was so strong, he was able to teach himself how to play the guitar. He was influenced by Keith Urbans Acoustic Guitar DVDs when teaching himself to play. Nine short months after teaching himself acoustic guitar, he joined the School of Rock in Knoxville where his talents only progressed throughout the year.
At 10 years of age Ethan was diagnosed with Autism, Attention Deficit Disorder, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. On top of that, he also has a learning disability, which made school more challenging for him. He channeled his frustration into singing and songwriting. Kristi, Ethan’s mother, had worked with the special needs community and was well-prepared to create a family momentum and treatment plan to aid her son in overcoming any barriers that may attempt to impede his path. He channeled his frustration into singing and songwriting. This forceful style of facing issues head-on became a family mantra No Excuses Ethan not only began to exceed anticipated limitations due to Autism, but he also worked hard to overcome numerous learning disabilities.
Over the past few years, Ethan and his band have been playing at local restaurants, festivals, and venues. Ethan and his band have been playing at the towns biggest show, “Rocking the Docks.” Families of all ages come and enjoy his shows. Ethan not only performs original songs he also does covers from his favorite musical influences such as Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash and Lynyrd Skynyrd. He recently recorded his very first single, “Lonesome Drifters Son” cowritten by his father, Butch Vincil.
Ethan is the heart and soul of his family. With the help of both his parents, and brother Garrett. Ethan has pursued many wonderful things and has accomplished what most can only dream of. He has realized over the years that his differences and so called “limitations” has only propelled him forward; making him more eager to reach the next level. In October of 2022 Ethan won Single of the Year at the Josie Music Awards in Nashville at the Grand Ole Opry House, for the song he and his father wrote, “Lonesome Drifters Son”. Since then, Ethan has released an EP Called “Sign Right Here” That was nominated for EP of The year at The 9th annual Josie Music Awards. He was nominated and won Vocalist of The Year Country Rock/Southern Rock at The 9th annual Josie Music Awards in October of 2023. There are many things to be expected in the future from this young, outlaw musician. He is releasing his first Christmas Song called “Santa Rode A Harley” and releasing 4 new Singles in 2024.
